"Fin Du Travail" is a collection of mainly piano or orchestral pieces of music from the past couple of years, some of these sounds would have been unthinkable just a few years ago without hiring an actual orchestra to get involved. Hope you like this slight departure.

Peter Rand has featured in the playlist in different guises on two recent occasions. FIN DU TRAVAIL is a departure from the proggy, bucolic Imaginary Kings and his reflective solo album CHESHIRE GHOSTS.

He’s created an electronic orchestra to give the album a soundtrack feel, where the individual tracks represent individual scenes. It works very well, especially on the sacred Absences where the reverb is cranked up on a church organ and the mysterious widescreen sound of Adagio, which could easily match footage from some SF film.
